Lake Magic is the third stop on our Thousand Trails adventure. If you like a family friendly but quiet park, this is the place for you. We came into this park during the season change. When I say season change, I mean the snowbirds are headed back up north. So when we arrived the park did have several open spots. Nothing wrong with that. It is a Large park so there was still quite a few people there.
I didn’t get to spend as much time at the park as I would have liked, I did a little more venturing out and about than I should have. The time that I did get to spend at the park, we took a ride on our segways to check it out. Lake Magic has two pools, and they look like great places to relax and cool off on a hot day.
We also had to venture down to the lake, just to sit and relax, watch the birds and even a few boaters. The lake is beautiful. You can find the lake just behind the clubhouse. Speaking of the clubhouse… Not sure if it was because the season is winding down or not, but the park didn’t have too many activities during our stay. I am looking forward to a future trip back so I can take it all in some more. See pic below to see what activities were going on during our stay the end of March into the beginning of April.
Lake Magic is a really nice, clean park. Everyone was very pleasant. One thing that set it aside from the past two parks we visited, there wasn’t as many dog owners, and less kids. But again, I think that has to do with the season change. If you do happen to have a four legged furry friend, they do have a nice fenced in dog area. It is the only place I noticed a doggy bag disposal, in case you were wondering.
This park, Lake Magic is located in Clermont, FL. If you are not familiar with the area, just know there is a ton of stuff you can do. Camping is fun in itself, but every once in awhile it is nice to check out your surroundings. In the case of this park, there is so much to do. You may just have to come back so you can experience all that this area has to offer.
