Thousand Trails Review – Camp All Year For $615 Plus $100 OFF!

Thousand Trails Is The Best RV Camping Program HANDS DOWN!

Before I get into all of the details On The Amazing Savings We discovered let me explain a bit about Thousand trails and how we got to the level we are at and how quickly we made the decision we did.

We have been avid campers for quite a few years. But never full time we always would travel to different campgrounds as we could or in recent years we would rent seasonal lots in Florida (We were from Vermont). Being that we work from home we have the option to work from anywhere since we are bloggers and all we need is wifi to do our job. This year I turned 50 and for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to live on the road as much as I could and work from our camper. We purchased our 2021 Jayco Redhawk with the intention to do just that but more so as a part time thing. A few weeks here then back home for a few months then a few weeks there. We quickly realized that doing this over time would get expensive if we went to much. That is when we discovered Thousand Trails and our lives completely changed.

As mentioned we discovered that it would be very expensive to camp all the time when you figure the average campsite is $75 – $90 per night for full hookups in a decent campground and a couple hundred in popular places like The Florida Keys. This adds up FAST! That is when we discovered the Thousand Trails Camping Pass. This amazing pass gives you year round camping on one zone for $615. This means FREE Camping for an entire year at over 81 Campgrounds across the United states. You are restricted to the zones you choose. You can add additional Zones for $65 Per Year (currently)

Trails Collection Add On

The very popular trails Collection add on is currently priced at only $315.00 per year at the time of this post. This add on is a no brainer in my opinion. It gains you an extra over 100 campgrounds you can stay at in between your stays at Thousand Trails Parks. When you get The Trails Collection on top of your existing Thousand Trails membership, you’ll discover additional locations including Encore RV Resorts, with properties in prime sunbelt destinations.

Trails Collection Benefits

  • Free or highly discounted camping at 100+ Encore RV Resorts
  • Stay up to 14 nights during each stay
  • Must be out of Trails Collection 7 days between stays (Elite members can go from a Thousand Trails park to a Trails Collection park and vice versa with no time in-between)
  • Book reservations 60 days in advance

Full Time Camper Benefits For Thousand Trails

Thousand trails also offers some amazing savings for Full Time Campers. This is the exact program that made the most sense to us. We upgraded to The Adventure program which was the highest level possible. There are other levels below adventure that are much less but with Adventure we got 365 days per year for camping all back to back at campgrounds all over the country and do not pay a dime. We also get other benefits such as 8 weeks of cabin rentals that we can also trade for cruise credits. After our initial investment 365 days of camping costs us $1200 per year. We now live in our camper for $100 per month!
